Rory is a “Montana native who brings passion and enthusiasm to the ranch’s kitchen, as an 8 year veteran of the restaurant industry. After attending culinary school in Boulder, Colorado, he returned to Montana, eventually serving as an Executive Chef in his hometown of Great Falls. Rory’s menus are based around seasonal Montana ingredients and variations on traditional dishes. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and backpacking in Montana’s vast designated wilderness areas.”
Many food items are sourced right on site from the ranch’s ¼ acre organic garden, and you’ll never taste fresher produce. Fresh eggs from chickens on the ranch will be the highlight of your breakfast, and honey from the Grey Cliffs beehives is simply delightful. This ranch to table style offers the very best.
Expect to indulge as you wake to a full breakfast spread complimented with tea and coffee, and then end your day with a dinner that often features local specialties. Rory can customize to your diet needs, so they’ve got you covered.
When you join us this fall you will have the opportunity to learn some of these fresh and vibrant dishes yourself, as we take part in our own private cooking class led by one of Grey Cliffs Ranch chefs. You will be guided through the sourcing of local ingredients, the preparation process, and a full tasting. And you’ll have the ability to ask all of your cooking questions.
