What To Pack On a Yoga Retreat

Attending a Yoga Retreat can be a magical time of reconnecting with yourself and with your practice – and we want to ensure that you are all set to pack well to fully enjoy your experience.

Packing well will not only prepare you for various situations that might arise, but can also help ensure you’re comfortable during the entire retreat.

This allows you the opportunity to fully decompress and minimize potential stress that can occur when you realize somethings missing, or you don’t have the right gear.

It can also give you a chance to practice the art of packing light – which goes hand-in-hand with the Yogic Yama of Aparigraha or non-greed.  By taking only what you need you will not only lessen your physical load and the strain on our Mother Earth, but most importantly you’ll simultaneously lessen your mind’s attachment on the possessions you require to get by.

Think of this as the ability to find a bit more freedom, simply by seeing how great a more simple/ minimalist way of life can be for your time away.

Need some inspiration for packing light and minimalism? No worries, we’ve got you covered.
