Our Fave Yoga Retreat Hideout: Grey Cliffs Ranch in Southwest Montana

Grey Cliffs Ranch is located in stunning southwest Montana, in close proximity to the lively town of Bozeman. The 5,200 acre ranch offers a rolling pastoral setting surrounded on all sides by the gorgeous Montana mountains.

The ranch which was at one time a cattle ranch, has been brought back to it’s natural state over a very intense restoration project, and is now home to many wildlife. Retreaters may glimpse fox, elk, bald eagles, pheasant, and other wildlife that now call this area home.

During our time on the ranch, guests will call these 5,200 acres home, and will have the opportunity to explore the area, which offers some magnificent hikes and vistas on foot and by 4 x 4 safari jeeps. There are 2 fully stocked trout ponds on both sides of the property for recreational use, as well as, quick access to the famed Madison River for a longer fly fishing adventure.

The Main house offers 8,000 square feet of rustic elegance, with custom kitchen, a magnificent great room with views of the mountain ranges, stone fireplaces, deep soaking tubs in many rooms, and full wrap around porch for sunset viewing. A game room is fully stocked for a game of cards or monopoly, and guests will stay in intimate and fully appointed rooms, which open onto private patios with views of the land beyond.

Grey Cliffs offers guests the ability either to pass time with other guests or relax into the seclusion also offered on this fully gated property. And our yoga practices will take place right onsite either in front of the great stone fireplace in the main house, on the wrap around deck taking in the mountain scenery, or alongside the grassy trout ponds in the fresh Montana air.
