  2. My secret spot/activity in RVA is the 40 mile bike loop near our home.
  3. My favorite tunes for on + off the mat are: Jason Mraz, India.Arie and Snatam Kaur. 
  4. I crave comfort (lycra) when it comes to beauty + clothing.
  5. 1 place I’d like to visit: Thailand. 
  6. Life’s too short to not let go.
  7. matter what comes up, I always make time to for a daily workout.

  9. The last time I laughed so hard I couldn’t stop was when my son put on a bark collar to check if the batteries were working. FYI, they were. 
  10. I am grateful that I am a yoga instructor because I have the opportunity to watch lives evolve before me. I’ve seen many AHA moments and those times are precious and I will be forever grateful that students have trusted me to share them with me. 
  11. When I close my eyes I see an awesome purple light. 
  12. Life is perfect when you have all the time in the world.
  13. I started practicing yoga when I was 32, because I got tricked. Life has a funny way of bringing you exactly where you need to be. 
  14. Going to the Lake in Minnesota in the summer is my guilty obsession.
  15. Monthly free Godiva truffle is my favorite cheap thrill.
  16. I luv Om On because they welcomed me with open arms when I arrived in Richmond 2 years ago!
  17. My life motto/ mantra is “When nothing is sure, everything is possible”. 
  18. In 20 years I hope to be 65 and still on my mat.
  19. My proudest accomplishment is raising a happy, healthy, kind 14 year old son. 
  20. One thing you wouldn’t have guessed about me is I was a “Clown for Christ” in high school. Full on costume, make-up and wig. Easter sunrise service will never be the same at St John’s Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND.
