1. Fresh Air, Hot Tea and hugs get me going in the morning.

  2. My favorite riff on a pb&j is Almond Butter, Raw Honey and Bananas on a nutty grainy bread.

  3. When I grow up I want to be comfortable in my body, at peace in my mind and surrounded by people and places I love and feel loved.

  4. Life’s too short to hold resentments.

  5. When I close my eyes I see myself smile on the inside.

  6. That quiet cozy time just before bed is the best part of my day.

  7. The last time I laughed so hard I couldn’t stop was with my best friend of 36 years…  happens every time, thank goodness!

    Mountain biking over rocks, headstands and jumping on the trampoline with my daughter are my favorite cheap thrills.

  10. I started practicing yoga when I was 23, because… do we really know why we do what we do at 23? It was offered at the gym and I thought it would be fun to try. I love that I had little expectations for what became the most transformative choice of my life.

  11. The person I call my Guru/Mentor/Role Model is: my inner wisdom that is receptive to learning something new from each and every yoga teacher that has crossed my path as well as most of my students.

  12. Earrings, yoga books, soy scented candles and bath balms are my guilty obsessions.

  13. One thing you wouldn’t have guessed about me is that I have recently uncovered an old Zen habit… painting in oils. I just finished my 3rd project and it will be exhibited at a show at the James Center!

  14. My proudest accomplishment is definitely my 3 beautiful kids, Zach 19, Jordan 16 and Marli 12.

  15. My favorite tunes for on + off the mat are: Michael Franti, Natalie Merchant, Deva Premal, Wah!, Beatles, Tracy Chapman, Josh Radin, U2, CSNY, James Taylor, Neil Young, Mumford & Sons, Zac Brown Band… and the ecclectic list goes on and on!

  16. You can find me in my meditation garden doing yoga or swinging/napping in the hammock when I need to mellow and unwind.

  20. I am grateful that I am a yoga instructor because you can’t keep it if you don’t give it away. I love helping others open to the peace and gratitude that is always there to awaken. I love exploring the physical asanas with others and watching students grow and learn.
